Bio-Speedy Sendromic Panels

The first respiratory syndromic panel was cleared in 2011 and less than 10 years, syndromic panel testing has expanded to multiple assays for detection of respiratory, gastrointestinal (GI), acute meningitis and encephalitis (ME), and sepsis infections. Infections can be diagnosed by traditional methods, but this process is slow and ineffective. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of the agent is essential for appropriate treatment. A Real-Time PCR test can detect the agents within hours with high specificity and sensitivity.

Bio-Speedy® Syndromic Panels are used for the in vitro qualitative detection of the pathogens. Bioeksen has four different panels; 1- Meningitis/Encephalitis RT-qPCR Panel, 2- Gastroenteritis RT-qPCR Panel, 3- Sepsis qPCR Panel, and 4- Respiratory Tract RT-qPCR Panel.

The Bio-Speedy® Syndromic Panels test and distinguish pathogens by qPCR reaction in less than 1 hour.
